Paul is a programme manager at the British High Commission working with the Somalia economic development team. Paul holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the Kenyatta University with various qualifications in human resources management, and marketing. Paul has a wealth of knowledge in management from both the private and development sectors. Paul is committed to supporting the Sacco’s growth while ensuring accountability and prudent investment of members’ funds and efficiency in operations.
Joy joined the Sacco management board in February 2024. She has been a Sacco member for over 10 years and is a certified Finance and Accounting practitioner with educational background in Finance and Accounting, including an MBA in Finance. She brings in a wealth of knowledge in financial management and risk management. Her enthusiasm and experience is expected to steer the Sacco to phenomenal growth levels in the coming years.
Richard Wanjohi has been a dedicated member of Devco Sacco for over 10 years and has actively contributed to its growth and governance. With 6 years of service in various committee roles, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Credit Committee, where he plays a key role in ensuring responsible lending and financial stability for members. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Master’s Degree in Finance, and is currently pursuing a Law Degree. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in finance, risk management, and compliance. Passionate about cooperative development and financial empowerment, Richard is committed to driving sustainable growth and innovation within the Sacco. He looks forward to working with members to enhance financial solutions and create more opportunities for economic success.
Brenda has been a member of the Sacco for close to 10 years. She is a programme management specialist with over 10-years’ experience managing complex programmes with multilaterals and NGOs and has experience in financial and risk management. She holds a master’s degree in international development and is passionate about gender equality and financial literacy.
Janet has extensive experience in strategic management and communications. She has more than 10 years’ experience in marketing, branding, communications and international development. Since joining the Sacco four years ago, she kicked off the marketing activities, regularly championing awareness of different products that has seen increased uptake. She holds a charter from the UK’ Institute of Public Relations and has been pursuing a master’s in strategic management. She hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marketing.
Nicholas Muchira is an accomplished and experienced program manager with a technical background in Information Technology. He currently works for Asal Consulting as a senior programme manager and IT Systems Manager where he oversees the implementation of robust IT systems while championing initiatives geared towards optimization of technology infrastructure. Previously, Nicholas worked for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for approximately a decade, where he engaged diverse & multi-cultural teams and successfully managed multiple projects in different African countries. Nicholas has been a longstanding member of devco sacco and he currently serves as the chairman of the supervisory committee where he ensures the safeguarding of members’ interests through effective implementation of policies, procedures and systems.
Patrick Okabinin is a seasoned finance professional with over eight years of comprehensive experience in finance, administrative HR, and procurement strategy development. Currently as a project accountant, Patrick oversees various donor budget implementations, executing his responsibilities with the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. Patrick is committed to ensuring compliance with all legal, statutory, and member requirements of the SACCO, continuously striving to enhance the operational efficiency of DEVCO’s policies and procedures.

Hillary is an accomplished financial leader with over 10 years of experience in the SACCO and cooperative sectors. He specializes in financial and accounting management, strategic planning, and organizational development, providing effective leadership that enhances financial efficiency, fosters innovation, and drives sustainable growth.
His expertise spans digital transformation, risk management, and member engagement, ensuring strong business performance and profitability. Additionally, he is well-versed in governance practices, regulatory compliance, and the execution of key strategic initiatives.
Hillary holds a CPA qualification and earned first-class honors in a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Strategic Management.
