This loan is available to members to mitigate emergencies and other unforeseen occurrences such as sickness ..

This loan is available to members who have ability to repay a loan for a longer period than the standard normal loan.

This loan is available to new members transferring their deposits from other Saccos.

Understanding Our By Laws
Membership
Members of the Society shall include employees of British High Commission,
DFID, BPST, IPSTC, affiliate institutions, employees of the Society and others as
approved by the management committee.
Funds
The funds of the Society shall be applied to the promotion of the said
subjects and purpose of the Society asset up in By-law 5.
Shares
Shares in the Society shall bear a nominal value of Kenya Shillings twenty
per share and every member shall hold at least 10 shares in the Society,
Our Testimonials
I am very proud to be associated with DEVCO, a SACCO that we ‘birthed’ in 1997. I recall, with a sense of fulfilment, when a small group of us from DFID came together and decided we needed to have our own SACCO, having experienced myriad challenges (and frustrations) from the entity that we had joined previously. I have therefore had the pleasure of watching DEVCO grow, right from its inception to what it is now. And it gives me great pride. I am delighted to see DEVCO grow; As it grows, I grow with it.
The last few years are particularly worthy of note. Under the dedicated chairmanship of Paul Macharia and his leadership team, DEVCO has grown exponentially, developing a wide range of products and services for its members, as well as putting in place a well-staffed office to manage the operations of the SACCO. I dare say that DEVCO is destined for greatness!
Viva DEVCO! Viva DEVCO members!
We founded DEVCO in 1997 out of the need to bring a Sacco nearer to members. As a result, a number of my colleagues and I at BHC mooted the idea of establishing an in-house Sacco – and there DEVCO was born!
We adopted the name DEVCO from Development as most of the founders then worked with Department for International Development. Our founder chair was Connie Kiprop. I am proud of how the Sacco has grown and is being currently run.
I don’t regret being a member of DEVCO Sacco as through this Sacco I have educated my siblings, build a home and now educating my own children!
I previously also served on the Credit Committee and have seen our loan portfolio grow over the years. We have diversified our products and continue to work to enhance efficiency. I can’t forget that DEVCO Housing was born out of DEVCO Sacco!
We are headed far and I am very proud to be associated with DEVCO Sacco
